About Elizabeth Yager Designs
Elizabeth Yager is the Principal Designer and owner of Elizabeth Yager Designs and EYD Fine Cabinetry, located in Effingham, Illinois. She leads a team specializing in comprehensive interior design services for residential and commercial projects throughout Central and Southern Illinois. Through EYD Fine Cabinetry, her cabinetry design studio, Elizabeth provides premier cabinetry solutions spanning from Champaign, Illinois, to the greater St. Louis area.

Elizabeth’s passion for design began in the picturesque Lake Harriet neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she grew up surrounded by stunning historic architecture. This environment sparked her early appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship of beautiful homes.
She pursued formal education at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus on Fashion Design and Fine Arts. During her time in Chicago, she met her husband, a native of Effingham, which ultimately led her to establish roots in Central Illinois.

In 2018, Elizabeth founded Elizabeth Yager Designs, inspired by the transformative experience of designing and building her own custom home. This process deepened her passion for helping others create personalized, functional, and timeless living spaces.

In 2022, she expanded her business by acquiring "Kuche Fine Cabinetry & Design," which she rebranded as "EYD Fine Cabinetry." This strategic move enabled Elizabeth to offer an even broader range of services, including fine cabinetry, countertops, and custom closets tailored to various budgets. With both businesses operating under one roof, she added drafting services, specialty flooring, tile, and other options to further streamline the design and renovation process for her clients.
Elizabeth’s ultimate goal is to provide a seamless, one-stop design destination where clients can bring their visions to life with ease. By simplifying the often overwhelming process of construction and remodeling, she ensures that each project is both enjoyable and inspiring.
