Elizabeth Yager Designs Acquires Küche Fine Cabinetry & Designs

Updated: Mar 8, 2022

Effingham, IL (March 8, 2022) – As Elizabeth Yager’s company, Elizabeth Yager Designs, continued to add clients, Yager found herself at a crossroads. It was time to hire additional staff to accommodate a quickly growing client list and find a larger workspace for the interior design projects she has been creating since founding her business in 2018. At the same time, Küche (pronounced “Koo-shuh”) Fine Cabinetry & Designs was ready for new ownership.

“The timing was perfect,” Yager said of her decision to purchase the company. “I have consulted as a designer with Küche for years, so I know the quality of custom cabinets they deliver. It’s a natural progression of Elizabeth Yager Designs and addresses some obstacles I foresaw about growing my business.”

Elizabeth Yager Designs is a full-service interior design studio that offers assistance with floor plans, creating 3D drawings and mood boards, kitchen and bath design, materials selection, budgeting projects, serving as the general contractor on projects, custom furniture, and more. With an undergraduate’s degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, from the first consultation to the final walk-through, Yager brings expertise to every step of the project.

Adding the Küche line of cabinets, counter tops and closet systems allows Yager to offer her clients another level of style. Not only did Yager expand her product line with the purchase of the company, she also added much-needed staff and retained the showroom location to meet clients at 814 E. Fayette Ave. in Effingham. The showroom will now be expanding into other areas of design and will allow you to order specialty products such as tile, wood flooring, moldings and trim, doors, wall coverings, furniture, light fixtures and so much more. “We will be a one-stop shop for interior design and will be able to assist clients with any detail in their homes,” says Yager excitedly about her plans for the future.

“I was to the point that hiring more employees was a necessity. I gained a full showroom and two designers with the acquisition. Although we will need to add at least one more person, we’re better equipped to serve our existing clientele,” Yager said.

She noted that interior designers bring a different perspective to the process of remodeling or building, by considering a home’s overall aesthetic and keeping cohesiveness in the overall project. Yager and her team are able to not only suggest design ideas, but also assist with selecting materials from thousands of options, making choices more convenient for homeowners without sacrificing cohesion. Designers are also dedicated to helping their clients get the look they want, within their budget.

Yager is planning an open house at Elizabeth Yager Designs/Küche Fine Cabinetry & Designs this Spring, with the date being announced soon. She looks forward to continuing her work with clients in Effingham and surrounding communities, giving homes a custom look at an affordable price.
