This thoughtfully designed kitchen blends timeless craftsmanship with an organic, nature-forward palette. We anchored the space with a stunning white oak island finished in a custom green stain that nods to the surrounding landscape. Crystal quartz countertops and a matching full-height backsplash create a seamless, refined backdrop, while brushed bronze hardware and plumbing add warmth and sophisticated contrast.
Because the homeowner enjoys watching the lake views and wildlife outside her windows, we positioned the sink to face the water and added custom cabinetry below the windows for both beauty and function. A structural beam was wrapped in white oak to unify the architectural elements. At the end of the island, we integrated a built-in table so that everyday dining could happen right inside the kitchen, eliminating the need for a separate stand-alone table.
Soft gold traditional light fixtures and textural window treatments layer in classic character. To elevate organization, we added extensive internal accessories, and by reconfiguring the original floor plan we created a dedicated pantry nook and a new entry into the dining room.
Design continuity continues throughout the home. The powder bathroom features a botanical wallpaper that complements the kitchen’s palette. Living room cabinetry was refreshed with matching paint, and the laundry room received custom green cabinetry paired with charming checkerboard tile for a fresh yet timeless look.
The result is a deeply personal home that brings the outdoors in, honors the surrounding landscape, and balances traditional sensibility with organic warmth.
