For my next interior design blog post, I would like to write about a remodel project for some clients that I have been lucky enough to have worked with twice in the past year.
For the first segment of this project, the Lakeside Shaker Remodel clients came to us wanting to remodel their kitchen with a goal to have it finished by Thanksgiving, 2018. They had recently down sized into a smaller home, and had wanted to remodel their kitchen to their taste. They love the simple and clean lines of the shaker style, so we picked white Shiloh Custom Cabinetry from Kuche Fine Cabinetry & Design with a shaker door style. We used 3D programming to build their new kitchen, and to be able to show them what it would look like before we even began the demo. Other materials that we picked for their kitchen include Wolf and Sub Zero Appliances from Probst, Bianco Antiquo Granite Counter tops from Pyramid Marble and Granite, and a gorgeous Sonoma Tile back splash from Wright's Furniture and Flooring. The installation work was completed by NC Builders. We are happy to say that we were able to get their kitchen finished with about two weeks to spare before Thanksgiving, and that they had a lovely !
The clients called me the following spring, also wanting to remodel their master suite. They had a tiny closet, which meant that one of them had to put their items in an adjacent bedroom closet. Then they also wanted to completely gut their bathroom to make it feel bigger, more elegant and more functional. We decided to take out the sliding door to their patio and move the bed so that they could have more space to be able to expand their closet. Then with a bigger closet, I was able to design a closet that could actually hold BOTH of their wardrobes! Then we designed a beautiful neutral bathroom, with white shaker style Shiloh Cabinetry from Kuche Fine Cabinetry & Design. We added Schluter System heated floors and tile from Wright's Furniture and Flooring. The beautiful neutral paint was from Sherman Williams. Our shower doors were from Dan's Glass. Our Q Quartz Laza counter tops were from Pyramid Marble and Granite. And the work was again completed by NC Builders.
Thank you to the clients for having the amazing opportunity to work with you not only once, but TWICE!
